According to the calendar it should be spring, but I don’t think Mother Nature knows that yet! Very soon it will be getting warm and we will be complaining how hot it is, so let’s just be patient.

The Little Miami Chamber of Commerce has chosen the Fort Ancient Restored Machinery Club as “Organization of the Year”. This is a great honor for our Club. They have recognized all of our hard work and dedication, not only for preserving and the teaching of the agricultural machinery of yesteryear, but for also helping other organizations throughout our community.  It takes a lot of hard work but we have a lot of fun doing it. We should hold our heads up high with pride for receiving this honor.
The presentation will be on May 9th at the Chamber of Commerce Spring Dinner at the Bell-Wood Country Club 5873 Ludlum Road  Morrow, Ohio. The cost of the dinner will be $35.00 per person. Please RSVP to Peoples First Savings Bank at 513-899-2040 by May 2nd. Any member attending please arrive at 6pm and the dinner is at 7pm.

We are getting things together for our Club Show. As I said in the last newsletter our show dates are September 13th – 16th and our feature tractor will be Cockshutt. The entertainment this year will be the group  Mes’n aRoun'.

The Clermont County Antique Machinery Club’s annual Tractor ride will be May 12th. Registration begins at 7:30am at Blanchester High School. For more information contact Matt West at 937-763-1368.

Our next Club meeting will be May 6th at the Warren County Fairgrounds at 6 pm.  Hope to see everyone there!
